Big Data

Big Data is a general term used to describe the voluminous amount of unstructured and semi-structured data a company creates — data that would take too much time and cost too much money to load into a relational database for analysis.
Big data analytics can be accomplished with software tools commonly used as a part of advanced analytics disciplines such as predictive analytics and data mining. However, the unstructured data sources used for big data analytics may not fit in traditional data warehouses. Furthermore, traditional data warehouses may not be able to handle the processing demands posed by big data.
