Dagnija Lacis, President and CEO
Dagnija Lacis is Founder, President and CEO. Prior to starting BTG in 1991, she had extensive experience at Burroughs, now Unisys, Corporation with positions of increasing responsibilities, most recently Vice President of Education Marketing and Services. Dagnija has a B.S. in both Chemistry and Mathematics Cum Laude from Butler University in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Andris Lacis, Executive Vice President
Andris Lacis is Executive Vice President. His responsibilities include management over the entire business operations. Andris is an engineer and experienced senior executive in operations, engineering, marketing and sales to the automotive market. He currently serves as the Honorary Consul for Latvia for the State of Michigan and is a Past Board Member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (SAE). Andris received his B.S. from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and MBA in Marketing from Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.
Peteris Kokovkins, Chairman of the Board
Peteris Kokovkins joined Baltic Technology Group in1992 as a programmer and currently holds the position of Director of the company. Peteris has more than 15 years experience in networking, business, finance and company administration. Peteris has a diploma of engineer of radio electronics from RTU and MBA from RISEBA, Riga, Latvia.
Ilze Freivalde, Special Consultant
Ilze Freivalde is former BTG Director of Development and currently available for consultancy. Her responsibilities included supervising existing and setting up new development projects. Ilze has significant project management and system design experience, working with banking, insurance and school systems in US and UK. Also recent experience managing postal system development and investigations projects for Scandinavian countries. Ilze received M.S. from Latvian University and PhD from Latvian Academy of Science. She has Prince 2 project management certificate and is member of Scrum Alliance.
Astra Kikute, Director of HR and Contract Operations
Astra Kikute joined Baltic Technology Group in 1995 and currently holds the position of Director of Human Resources and Contract Operations. She has more than 15 years experience in project administration, contract operations, human resource management and personnel development. Astra is an expert in offshore and nearshore project planning and administration including recruiting and budgeting. Astra holds BSc in Business Administration (International Business) from University of Latvia, Riga, Latvia.
Ed Lacis, Vice President
Ed Lacis is Vice President. Ed received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana and a MBA from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio.
Larisa Brosko, Vice President and General Counsel
Larisa Brosko is Vice President and General Counsel. Her responsibilities include managing all legal aspects of the business, along with marketing. Larisa is a registered patent attorney and experienced general counsel to start-up biotech, pharmaceutical and technology companies. She currently serves as a Board Member for the Association of Corporate Counsel, Austin. Larisa received a B.S. from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and a J.D. from DePaul University in Chicago, Illinois.
